Alfonsdorp

The founders of Alfonsdorp are Alfons Karwafodi and Rosalina Jubitana. Both already deceased. Grandpa Alfons would now have been 124 years old. In the year 1951 he came to live with his children from Wanekreek and the Moi Wanna creek along the Luitenant Weyneweg. He subsequently founded Alfonsdorp. Alfons Karwafodi was a healer and his wife was a midwife. Together they knew many ways to heal people in the traditional way known to us Indigenous people.
